Nontrivial Ventures LLC is the entity through which Romel Lira holds and supports this work. It is pre-commercial. NTIS is an independently developed technical and research project, not a currently available product or consulting service.
The perspective behind NTIS
Many systems optimize for an answer. NTIS is interested in the record behind an answer: what source material was available, how it was connected to a judgment, and how that evidence and reasoning changed later.
That perspective favors traceability, explicit human judgment, and visible uncertainty. It does not treat a model’s output or confidence as a substitute for analytical evaluation.
The name
“Nontrivial” is a reference to second-order cybernetics: systems whose history affects later behavior. The practical interest here is more modest—making consequential changes in reasoning easier to inspect rather than treating them as a black box.
Current status
NTIS remains in active, pre-commercial development. This site describes its current engineering state and research boundaries; it does not represent commercial deployment, paid engagements, or validated analytical or cognitive assessment.
